Plain-language version — this is a small, invite-only hobby project, not a company with a legal department, so this is written to actually be read.
Gridiron Vault is a personal, invite-only project. There's one commissioner who runs the app, personally vets every invite, and can see/administer account data as needed to operate the game (e.g. resolving disputes, fixing bugs, moderating abuse).
You must be 18 years of age or older to create an account. You must also have a valid invite code from someone already in the league — registration isn't open to the general public.
Every dollar amount in this app — your bankroll, pack prices, contest prize pools — is play money. No real money is ever collected, wagered, deposited, or paid out. Nothing here is gambling, and nothing here is redeemable for cash or anything of real-world value.
Creating an account collects your name, email address, and a password (stored as a one-way bcrypt hash — we never store or can see your actual password). We also keep a record of your play-money wallet, transactions, cards, and contest history so the game works.
Account emails (welcome, password reset, email verification) are sent through Resend, a third-party transactional email provider — they handle delivery, not us. This app isn't affiliated with or endorsed by the NFL or any team. We don't sell or share your data with advertisers — there aren't any.
We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. It's functional only — not used for tracking or advertising.
Accounts can be suspended or removed for abuse, cheating, or misuse. You can also ask the commissioner to delete your account and data at any time.
This is a hobby project run by one person in their spare time. It's provided as-is, with no uptime guarantee and no warranty of any kind. Live stat syncing isn't guaranteed to be perfectly accurate or immediate, and can occasionally lag or go down without notice.
These terms may change as the app evolves. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the update.
